Hampton Cove at Geist Reservoir
Indianapolis Monthly is pleased to announce the 2008 Indianapolis Monthly Dream Home, the city’s premier luxury home show, featuring a magnificent 10,000-square-foot residence nestled on the waterfront of Geist Reservoir. Open for public tours October 4 through 19, the 2008 Indianapolis Monthly Dream Home features a state-of-the-art home built by Homes by Design. The Dream Home’s interior design will be a collaborative effort by leading interior designers and furniture stores from around Central Indiana, including Casual Elegance Designs by Tina, Déjà vu Furniture, Especially Wicker, International Furniture Imports, Kitchens by Design, Norwalk Furniture and Design, and Today’s Bedroom One, with specialty areas supplied by BGI Fitness, Jay Orner and Sons Billiard Company, Kits and Kaboodle Classic Toys, Outdoor Environments Group and TRI Phase Technologies. The home is located in Marina Limited Partnership’s Hampton Cove development at Fall Creek and 96th Street, on the east side of the reservoir. Approximately 7,500 attendees are expected to glean homebuilding and interior-design inspiration during the 16-day tour.
Proceeds from the 2008 Indianapolis Monthly Dream Home tour once again benefit the Dyslexia Institute of Indiana, a local charitable organization that provides educational resources to children with specific reading disabilities. Previous Indianapolis Monthly Dream Homes have raised more than $900,000 for the Dyslexia Institute of Indiana over the last 18 years. All proceeds benefit the Dyslexia Institute of Indiana.
