Best Literary Tribute

We’re not sure if Kurt would have frequented this Vonnegut-inspired restaurant bar in Fountain Square. With its contemporary lines, drafting stools, and antique typewriters, it might be a little too nice. But the man did like to drink, and it’s a very agreeable place to do that. The cocktail menu changes seasonally, so don’t go looking for “the usual.” If it’s available, start with a Reverend Palmer: bourbon, lemon, and bitters. Or a Kilgore Trout, made with chai-infused rum, amaretto, and orgeat. And the bar offers high-concept snacks ranging from charcuterie to pickles. Goodbye, blue Mondays, indeed.
