Best Yuppie-Watching
One of the few grown-up watering holes in Broad Ripple, this mod bar dresses almost entirely in bronze and white. And while its J. Crew–clad patrons are about as colorful, there’s no denying that the polished zinc bar and straight lines make for a sophisticated place to drink. Until 11 p.m., Northside Social is primarily a restaurant. But its long benches and high-top tables (with comfortable bar stools!) lend themselves nicely to a lounge after hours. The cocktail, wine, and craft-beer lists are all modest—lengthy enough to find something you like, though not distinguished. What is? The handsome crowd.
