Keith Phillips

Publisher and President
A New Jersey native, Keith Phillips quickly made his mark on the local media scene by helping start two publications: Cash Book, a coupon magazine, and Indianapolis Weekly Update, a tabloid newspaper. He joined Indianapolis Monthly in 1991 as an account executive and moved up the ranks, serving as advertising director, associate publisher, and, currently, publisher and president. In this role, Keith oversees sales for IM and its four ancillary titles, as well as manages the direct-mail division and the many publications and projects that the IM staff produces for clients throughout the year.
Keith serves on a number of boards and committees, including the Builders Association of Greater Indianapolis, the Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce, the City and Regional Magazine Association, the Indiana chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers, and the Board of Visitors for Butler University’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
