Trisha Brand started working for Indianapolis Monthly in 2011, shortly after returning to her home state of Indiana after a 10-year stint in New York and Chicago. During her time away, she called several food and lifestyle magazines home, including Gourmet, Bon Appetit, Food & Wine, Saveur, and even Playboy. She had her hand in many of the most-renowned food festivals around the world, including the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen, Bon Appetit Culinary Classic in Beaver Creek, the Scottsdale Culinary Festival, Saveur’s Annual BBQ Bash in NYC, and the New York City Wine & Food Festival. There, she truly enjoyed getting to work closely with chefs, winemakers, and mixologists and further exposing their talents to new audiences. Her favorite chef interaction, hands down, involved 3 a.m. birthday cocktails with the one and only Jacques Pepin. She is a graduate of IU’s School of Journalism and lives in SoBro.
