Colts-Broncos Among Most Expensive NFL Games

When Peyton Manning makes his much-anticipated return to Lucas Oil Stadium on Oct. 20, tickets will cost more than an iPad. And that sticker shock is already generating buzz, four months before kickoff.

The game, scheduled for Week 7’s Sunday Night Football telecast, recently landed among the top-10 most expensive NFL showdowns for the 2013 season. Secondary ticket market Vivid Seats used the average price for all available NFL tickets as of June 12 to calculate which games will deal the hardest hit to fans’ wallets.

For the Colts-Broncos game, that average ticket price is $467. Only three other NFL games next season are more expensive, and two of those are also Manning’s  (vs. little brother Eli and arch rival Tom Brady). Here’s the full list, provided by Vivid Seats:
