Eat Sheet: Nourish, D’s Taps, and More

This Week’s Trends in Indy Dining
» Fletcher Place eatery Nourish Innovative Local Cuisine & Cocktails (931 S. East St., 317-371-1699) will open May 21. Concetta Mascari (formerly of Mo’s … A Place for Steaks) and Eli Laidlaw (formerly of The Alexander, Recess, and Cerulean) are helming the kitchen.

» Signage is up and progress is being made on Georgia Reese’s new downtown location (14 E. Washington St.).

» Beech Grove restaurant and bar D’s Taps (704 S. Main St., 317-786-5668) is now open, pouring a variety of local craft brews ranging from Taxman Brewing Co.’s Deduction to Quaff On Brewing’s Yellow Dwarf.

» Next time you’re at King David Dogs (135 N. Pennsylvania St., 317-632-3647), go for the ham. The popular downtown spot now offers famous Weiss’ deli-style ham on sandwiches and atop the Ham Bone hot dog. In case you missed it, the restaurant’s owners recently appeared on Food Network’s Food Fortunes in hopes of getting financial help that will allow the company to distribute its hotdogs at big-box retailers.
