Starry Starry Nights

The astral glow that hovered over Indianapolis last weekend has subsided a bit, now that the visiting Super Bowl celebrities have left town. But for three nights, their every public move lit up the Twittersphere, with sightings at all of the well-trodden downtown haunts (St. Elmo might as well have its own E! True Hollywood Story at this point) and as far north as Geist, where Madonna was spotted jogging (just not in a white Adidas tracksuit covered in musical notes).

To wit, the crew at The Libertine (38 E. Washington St., 317-631-3333) cooked for Jimmy Fallon; Fallon’s raucous rock-rap house band, The Roots; and Top Chef’s Tom Colicchio, who gave Neal Brown’s eatdrinkery a shout-out at Saturday night’s Maxim party. Fallon also dined at Recess (4907 N. College Ave., 317-925-7529) last week, as did Neil Patrick Harris and James Carville. Kelly Clarkson got some pre-Anthem nourishment at Black Market (922 Massachusetts Ave., 317-822-6757) Friday night, while Carrie Underwood ventured north to Late Harvest Kitchen (8605 River Crossing Blvd., 317-663-8063). True Blood’s Joe Manganiello hit the JW Marriott’s Osteria Pronto (10 S. West St., 317- 860-5600)—twice. Maria Menounos told a reporter on the red carpet at the Rolling Stone party that she had gone to Kilroy’s. Clark Kellogg refueled Sunday morning at Patachou on the Park (225 W. Washington St., 317-632-0765).

Meanwhile, St. Elmo (127 S. Illinois St., 317-635-0636)—in its role as The Ivy of Indy—hosted John Travolta, Michael Douglas, Jon Hamm, Jack McBrayer, Chace Crawford, Matthew Morrison, Jessica Simpson, Dennis Miller, Nick Lachey, Taylor Lautner, and Shaquille O’Neal. Down the street, sibling restaurant Harry & Izzy’s (153 S. Illinois St., 317-635-9594) took in Cal Ripken Jr., Pat Riley, Adam Sandler, and the Holy Grail himself, Tim Tebow.

Did we miss anybody?

Tennis ace Andy Roddick and his actress/model wife Brooklyn Decker, with Channel 8 sportscaster Anthony Calhoun, downtown at Ruth’s Chris. Roddick also had trouble ordering from Papa John’s, which he famously tweeted.

Long live A-Rod and B-Deck. They rode the ZipLine, too: http://www.tennis.com/articles/templates/thespin.aspx?articleid=16279&zoneid=8
