With at least 80 sharable dishes, this chic, lively City Center favorite is no place for the indecisive (or kids—patrons must be at least 21); even vegetarians and celiacs can find dozens of tasty options. A good rule of thumb is to order two or three items per person over the course of a full meal. The crock of rich, slightly spicy corn creme brulee is now legendary, and new pork drumettes—more like individual meaty ribs with a thick, sweet blackberry barbecue sauce—will be soon. The Toppers page alone offers a choice of nine spreads and 12 “foundations” (from English cucumbers to fried biscuit bites) for 108 possible combinations. You can’t go wrong nibbling fluffy whipped feta on olive oil–drenched rustic bread in the expansive bar. The menu gets extra points for designating which items are gluten-free, lactose-free, and vegan.
