The bustle of this house of ‘cue revolves around owners Julie and Gary Park’s respect for smoked meats and tangy sauces. The coffee-crusted ribeye has a cowboy char that locks in the juice and flavor; the bourbon chicken is a large portion glazed in housemade sauce; and the ribs—hulking slabs of caramelized meat—are no joke. Some fun is had with the bar menu—you can “slurp and burp” on Wednesdays, when longnecks go for $2 and wings for 50 cents, and the house cocktail, the Kentuckarita, is a frozen Jim Beam margarita.
