Longtime Midtown Grill employee Oussama Nahas recently purchased this space from the former owner and gave the spot his own touches. He's replaced the old artwork, upgraded some furniture, repainted the walls a terra-cotta tone, and created a more open environment. For fare, some of his new entrees miss the mark, like the floppy, undercooked lobster flatbread and the overly fried and bland shrimp fritter. But the mixed-green salad and the Grecian meatballs, skewered ground beef dotted with fresh herbs and drizzled with tzatziki sauce, are leaving us hopeful. And for drinks, forget that old cocktail-menu mainstay, the chocolatini, in favor of a crisp half-bottle of Oregon pinot gris.
