Opened with much fanfare in the summer of 2011, this stylish restaurant renovation with a spacious patio along Broad Ripple Avenue promised “Midwestern comfort food with a culinary twist” but faltered at first. Now that talented veteran chef Dan Dunville is heading up the kitchen, the menu delivers on that promise with a superlative scallop appetizer, excellent salads, a succulent steak sandwich, and perhaps the moistest, most flavorful fried chicken in town.
