The high-ceilinged decor and baby-grand entertainment set a lavish tone at this local Epic Hospitality chain where potent top-shelf cocktails keep distinguished company with pedigreed steaks as staggering as your bill. Basic high-end appetizers stick with the standard-issue crabcake, shrimp cocktail, and ahi tuna, plus a lovely wedge salad and properly cheesed-over crock of French onion soup. Steaks are pure decadence—topping out at a 30-ounce Tomahawk for $119 and a $107 Wagyu filet that pairs nicely with the optional Asian crab adornment. You will fare better sticking with the lean cuts here, and the thick, seared sea bass deserves just as much praise as the red meat. Several of the desserts, like an over-the-top chocolate bread pudding, get a tableside drizzling of chocolate sauce. Consider an after-dinner Key lime martini instead.
