This hangout will always be known to a previous generation of downtowners as “the Distillery.” A change in ownership brought a spruced-up second floor, expanded patio seating (with great sunset views), the Bourbon Street moniker, and, appropriately, a Cajun/Creole–inspired overhaul of the food program. Now, the old pub-grub standards share the menu with po'boys and pastas topped with Big Easy staples such as “bugs” (crawfish) and andouille sausage.
