This well-lit locavore haunt is close enough to skyscrapers to make it a crowded workday lunch-meet spot. Come at 11 a.m. if you want to beat the lines that form for hearty salads like The Cafe (with grilled chicken, bacon, and avocado) and stacked sammies such as the grilled Big Cheese (cheddar, provolone, and jack). Even better to swing a breakfast meeting: The French toast, sourdough dipped in a rich batter with local Amish honey and then rolled in crushed cornflakes, is at once crispy and fluffy.
