The Slow Food Indy Sip is a chance for members and the leadership team to meet and greet, talk "slowly" with one another, and promote our shared values. Brett Canady and Tia Agnew of New Day Meadery truly put out a local product. They insist on using fresh, locally grown fruit and honey, and handcraft each batch of their product. Their business is a family one with a dedicated bunch of relatives and friends forming the labor force of this company. The meads and ciders are on tap to order by the glass, and you'll likely want to take home a bottle or a growler upon trying one! Hear a little background about New Meadery, get updates from committee members on Slow Food happenings, and enjoy some great company. Free. For information, call 888-632-3379.
