The Jazz Kitchen (5377 N. College Ave.) to host first beer dinner as part of a new food series for 2013. The first dinner will be on Thursday, January 24 at 7 p.m. and will feature North Coast Brewing to complement a unique food offering prepared by Chef and Owner, David Allee. Four-course menu includes: Shrimp Etoufee paired with North Coast Scrimshaw Pilsner Style Beer, Red Seal marinated Flat Iron Steak with Red Seal Ale, Andouille Mashed Potato and Roasted Root Vegetable Stack with Brother Thelonious Belgian Style Abbey Ale, and Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout Float + Chocolate Truffles.
