Guests will soon be able to savor samples from more than 40 food and beverage exhibitors during the southside’s largest tasting event. Participating exhibitors include Chateau Thomas Winery, Jockamo Upper Crust Pizza, and Jonathan Byrd’s Cafeteria. The event will also include a Chef Challenge to determine who receives the coveted title of Best Chef. During two sessions, competitors will have 30 minutes to prepare something with the various ingredients they’re given. Chef Richard Goss from Richard’s BrickOven Pizza will be back to defend his title against Chef Donovan Koester of Augustino’s, Chef Mike Heller of Main Street Grille, and Chef Greg Schiesser of Indiana Downs. Hosted by Reid Duffy, the Chef Challenge, sponsored by SOUTH Magazine, showcases the culinary talents of some of the southside’s best chefs while attendees have the opportunity to watch.
