We were recognized on May 20 in Atlanta in the Leisure/Lifestyle Interest category.

Mind if we brag for just a moment? On Monday, May 20, the magazine took home a City and Regional Magazine Association (CRMA) award in the category of Leisure/Lifestyle Interest for our October 2012 “Fall Drives: Lost and Found” feature.

The judges lauded the travel piece, helmed by executive editor Evan West, saying, “This incredibly robust package provides readers with a slew of varied and interesting options for the most American of leisure pursuits: the road trip.”

In total, Indy Monthly was nominated for eight of the national awards, including general excellence. Check out the full list of winners here. And now that it’s warm enough, why not revisit the five Indiana excursions plotted out in the package, drop the convertible top, and take a drive?
