Pacer-doxical: Indiana vs. Miami Preview

Both struggling, the Pacers and Heat could answer a mystery tonight—but probably won’t.

In the last month, the Pacers’ on-again-off-again bro-mance with the Eastern Conference’s No. 1 seed might have lacked passion, but certainly not drama. Now a game removed from resting (benching?) the starters in a last-second win over the lottery-bound Bucks, the Pacers revisit the Heat tonight. While this season the Pacers own a 2-1 mark over the Heat and hold a half-game conference lead, both teams come into Miami’s AmericanAirlines Arena with a 2-3 mark over their last five outings. At stake tonight: possible home-court advantage in the upcoming NBA Playoffs. Who wants it? Who knows?

What do the Pacers need do to beat the Heat and punch their top-seed playoff ticket?

Tweet along with the IM team tonight during tonight’s game (tipoff: 7:30 p.m. EST) and tell us, using the hashtag #PacersRx (see the relevant Twitter feed below).

We’ll collect the best for a Saturday-morning post about tonight’s game.
