» Today Was a Good Reay: One Wednesday, the mug of 2014 Indy 500 champ Ryan Hunter-Reay finally appeared on the Borg-Warner trophy (above, via Hunter-Reay’s Instagram account). He also made it inside the pages of the Dec. 8 ESPN the Magazine. In the “Big Money” issue, Hunter-Reay offers his two cents on athlete spending in the form of diary entries. The big reveal is that the driver’s gym membership costs just $31.79 a month.

» Who Wore It Better? Did the Old Oaken Bucket look better with the scruff of IU quarterback Zander Diamont (above, via Diamont’s Instagram account) or the beard of soap-hunk dad Don (a.k.a. Brad, Bill, etc.)? Answer: IU coach Kevin Wilson doesn’t care. Despite leading the Hoosiers to a 4-8 mark this year and a 14-34 one over the last four, Wilson will reportedly be back for a fifth.
» Could Be Luv: Caroline Wozniacki, the Miss Congeniality of women’s tennis, Serena Williams’s BFF, and rudely dumped ex-fiancee of Rory McIlroy, is now romantically linked with a guy from Muncie—Ryan Kerrigan, who starred in football at Purdue and now plays for the Redskins. Caro is one of the most media-friendly tennis players out there, and one of the most active on social media. When the 5’9″ McIlroy broke off their engagement on the phone—after the invitations were sent out—she took a dig at him on social media in July: “‘Out and about in Istanbul. It’s been three years since I have worn high heels on a normal day out.” And she has a very controlling, overbearing dad. We hope Ryan knows what he’s getting into. He’ll be in London tabloids before he knows it.
