» Bill’s Due: Walmart greeter Bill Polian gets inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame this weekend. The former Colts GM enters Canton under the new “Contributor” category and should be remembered for the franchise’s perfect 2009 season and inventing the game building a winner. » Fool’s Gold? Notre Dame makes the cover of Sports Illustrated‘s annual College Football Preview issue, along with three other schools. The Irish are looking to rebound after a disappointing 8-5 campaign in 2014. And what of the other in-state powers? Indiana and Purdue will play basketball later this year.

» Cry Brady: Some of Tom Brady’s emails were released as part of the NFLPA’s lawsuit regarding the quarterback’s DeflateGate suspension. Highlights include a Peyton Manning joke and—no joke—whining about the color of a pool cover.
