Super Bowl Village was packed this morning with half-drunk, jersey-clad crazies. Some of the strangest creatures, though, took up residence on Monument Circle. Sure, the obligatory robot street performer did his thing. But have a look at that lady emulating Victory, the statue at the top of the Monument. That's a lot of bronzer. I had to look very closely before I was sure there was a human being under there. Then there was the purple-haired magician floating outside our offices here at the Emmis Building. And behold the faceless H&R Block representatives sporting large QR codes around their necks. I'm not sure what statement that makes about the accounting profession, but it certainly got the crowd's attention.
