Yogi Ferrell
Yogi brings so many things—his change of speed, change of direction, his ability to shoot the three, his ability to play in transition, his ability to shoot the pull-up. Now he’s adding the ability to explode around people, and he’ll continue to get better at that. He’s getting stronger. He’s been on the Indiana scene for a long time, even longer than we’ve been here, so it seems like he’s actually older than he is, and he plays that way. You just put him right at the top of the list when you talk about guys who have been coached to win.

Peter Jurkin
I think the upside of Peter is as high as anyone because he has a huge presence on the court. There have been a couple of growth spurts for him, not only in height but in weight, and his body has continued to change. There’s no question that last year’s injury set him back. But I think here’s a guy [at 7 feet tall] who will have an impact this year nationally because he’s playing with another great big man on his team [Cody Zeller]. I think they’ll get a lot of attention. Having them on the front line will change the game for us unlike anybody we’ve had to this point. You can work on a lot of things, but you can’t work on height and length.

Jeremy Hollowell
Jeremy has a quiet demeanor; he’s not flashy. But he has the skills. When you talk about short-space quickness, explosiveness, feel for the game, and loving to be in the gym, those things help him a great deal. He keeps growing, and his game keeps expanding with it. We started recruiting this young guy when he was about 6’5″. He’s already 6’8″.

Hanner Mosquera-Perea
We saw a brutal game a couple of years ago between Rakeem Christmas [star at Syracuse] and Hanner. Rakeem was ranked No. 1 or No. 2 in the country as a center. It was two grown men going at one another, and it was not for the fainthearted. But Hanner has that kind of edge about him, and he would not back down. He’s one of the best athletes in the entire class, let alone our class. I think he’s going to make the game easier for his teammates in several ways—with his defense, his ability around the bucket, his ability to rebound the ball, and he’s going to become a very capable scorer for us in the time that we have him.
