Dr. Dugan is the only medical oncologist recognized by Indianapolis Monthly's Top Doctors for his work in prostate cancer. He is a pioneer in cancer care. Over 30 years ago, he created an oncology network across Indiana that encompassed over 20 rural and underserved hospitals—enabling patients to receive state-of-the-art cancer care in their hometowns. During that time, he also ran a private oncology practice in Indianapolis. Dr. Dugan has participated in and conducted numerous oncology clinical trials and led a nationally recognized landmark study published in the Journal of Clinical Oncology relative to depressive symptoms in cancer patients. He has special interests in treating prostate and breast cancer patients.
