Rodney Stuckey and Joe Young pitched in at the Chase Near Eastside Legacy Center for Pacers Go Green Week.
Pacers Go Green Week
A couple of Pacers were feeling spring fever yesterday at the Chase Near Eastside Legacy Center in Indianapolis.

As part of Pacers Go Green Week presented by Republic Services, guards Rodney Stockney and Joe Young teamed up to lend a hand—moving compost, preparing planting beds, and generally tidying up—on the 13,000-square-foot U-Pick urban farm Growing Places Indy manages at the community center on the campus of Arsenal Technical High School.

Produce from the micro-farm is available from June through September: Visitors can make purchases at a farm stand or, on Thursdays from 4 to 7 p.m., pick their own (727 N. Oriental St., 317-423-2000, jhbcc.org).
