Day Trip: The Parks and Rec Tin Ball

President William Henry Harrison’s historic Vincennes home, Grouseland, is bound to attract Parks and Recreation fans with a giant tin-and-paper “campaign ball” featured on the show. Harrison’s campaigners pushed a similar sphere between towns in the mid-1800s, creating the phrase “keep the ball rolling.” Parks and Rec donated the prop, now a must-see Indiana artifact. 3 W.
