Harry Potter Comes Back to the (Seriously) Big Screen in Indy

Potterheads, get ready for a one-week movie marathon in celebration of the iconic series’ 15th anniversary. The IMAX Theater in the Indiana State Museum is hosting the first Harry Potter Fan Festival, during which they will show all of the Harry Potter films. Showings begin on Friday, October 14, and end Wednesday, October 19.

Harry, Hermione, Ron, and company will loom large on the biggest movie screen in the state—six stories tall and 84 feet wide.

Single screening tickets are $12, but the theater is also offering what they call a Potter Passport for $75, which gets you into all eight films (one time each) and also a free ticket to Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, which opens in November.

“Harry Potter fans cannot miss this momentous opportunity,” says Craig Mince, IMAX theater manager. “This has never been done before, and we are honored to be one of the few theaters who can offer an experience like this to such a loyal fan base.”

Times vary from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. For more information, visit the IMAX Theater’s schedule.
