Jake New is a reporter and writer living in Washington, D.C. He studied journalism at Indiana University, where he was editor-in-chief of the Indiana Daily Student. His work has appeared in Inside Magazine, the Bloomington Herald-Times, and the Chronicle of Higher Education. As an intern for the Chronicle, he was the recipient of the 2013 David W. Miller Award for Young Journalists. He is currently an assistant editor covering higher education and technology at eCampus News.
March, a graphic novel drawn by Bloomington-based Nate Powell and written by John Lewis—the last living speaker from the March on Washington—is being hailed as “the pinnacle of the comics canon.”
