Scott studied journalism and communications at Ball State University before serving as an Indianapolis Monthly editorial intern in 2005. He edited For Dummies books and Frommer's Travel Guides at Wiley Publishing for more than five years, also freelancing for IM and other culture and sports publications. Scott rejoined IM in July 2011, originating the role of Digital Media Manager and growing the magazine's web, email, and social media presences. His work has appeared in The New York Times. Scott presently leads global digital strategy at Lilly, and he moonlights as a commentator and scribe at TENNIS magazine, its websites, and CNN affiliates. He lives downtown with his partner and pugs.
