John Green's Book-Turned-Film The Fault in Our Stars Gets First Poster

The bestseller becomes a movie for all to see on June 6.

Update, Dec. 21, 2013: Author John Green responds to fan backlash to the impending film’s tagline, “One Sick Love Story,” via his Tumblr page.

The highly anticipated release of the movie The Fault in Our Stars, adapted from the novel by Hoosier author John Green, has become a nearly tangible experience. How do we know this? Thanks to the unveiling of the first theatrical poster by 20th Century Fox over at Buzzfeed.

The poster shows the movie’s cancer-stricken and love-struck protagonists Hazel Lancaster (Shailene Woodley) and Augustus Waters (Ansel Elgort) being all cute and stuff above the tagline “One sick love story.” The film is set to appear in theaters nationwide on June 6, 2014.
