Late Harvest Kitchen

Nearly three years since its debut, this acclaimed fine-dining spot certainly hasn’t fallen into a sophomore-year slump. This is thanks to the genius of chef Ryan Nelson, whose protein-and-starch–heavy plates leave you writing them into your dying wishes as the last meal you want to partake of on Earth. (Come to think of it, we wouldn’t mind taking a heaping serving of sticky toffee pudding with us to the grave.) And while you can’t go wrong with any of the selections, such as the daily whole roasted fish, the thick-cut pork chop resting in a pool of baked beans and crowned with bacon marmalade continues to be a must-order item.

INSIDER TIP: Even though you will get an upscale experience here, there’s no need to put on your Sunday best. The accessibility of this neighborhood-style restaurant extends to the dress code.

SAVE ROOM FOR: Don’t ask questions; just order the sticky toffee pudding and sit in awe of its glory.
