» Northside Nights, two weeks of three-course value-priced menus at top restaurants like Late Harvest Kitchen and Oakleys Bistro, kicked off yesterday and runs through March 20.

» Though R Bistro has officially closed its doors on Mass Ave, you can still get your fix of the kitchen’s legendary culinary skills through a series of cooking classes at satellite gourmet market, R2GO (1101 N. College Ave., 317-737-2543). The hands-on lessons begin with a Greek Cooking class taught by Erin Kem tonight, and a Southwestern-themed class with Regina Mehallick tomorrow. Kem also leads a Knife Skills class on March 15 and a Middle Eastern cooking class on March 16. Lane Milburn leads an Italian-cooking class on March 28. The classes begin at 6:30 p.m. and cost $80.
