» Looks like we’ll be buying up even more Endangered Species Chocolate bars on our next Whole Foods run. The locally based company recently announced that it is America’s first chocolate brand made with fully traceable cocoa from West Africa. Endangered Species Chocolate’s cocoa is grown by West African farmers who abide by the highest standards in order to protect workers’ rights and the environment. According to the press release, “When a customer purchases ESC’s Fairtrade certified bars, West African farmers earn a fair price and an additional Fairtrade social premium to invest in business and community projects such as improving education and healthcare, protecting their environment and improving their economic well-being.”

» Suburbanites, rejoice! Mass Ave’s beloved Bru Burger Bar is coming to Carmel (12901 Old Meridian St.).

» Jockamo Upper Crust Pizza will open another location this April in a new Lawrence office-and-retail development on the corner of 56th Street and Lawrence Village Parkway.

» Delicia (5215 N. College Ave., 317-925-0677) has started dishing out brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

» Fountain Square Brewery (1301 Barth Ave., 317-493-1410) is now serving wine, along with New Day Meadery’s craft mead and cider.
