» After sitting vacant for months, the one-time location for BL&T (1 N. Meridian St.) appears to be coming back to life—again. A sign on the front door teases that a crawfish, crab, and oyster bar called The Boil is coming soon.

» Rick’s Café Boatyard (4050 Dandy Trail, 317-290-9300) was the only Indiana restaurant to make Open Table’s list of The 100 Most Scenic Restaurants in America for 2016. Make it work, Eagle Creek.

» Last week’s Property Lines in the IBJ gave a status update for the rejuvenated stretch of East 16th Street that became a foodie destination when restaurateurs Peter George and Thomas Main opened Tinker Street in 2015. George and Main have switched gears on their next project—which will be a Mexican restaurant, not an Italian one—in a 1,100-square-foot space at 1217 E. 16th Street. Hotel Tango Whiskey also plans to open a second location in the neighborhood.

» Indiana oenophiles have two new dates to block out on their calendars: The Indianapolis Wine Festival Aug. 26­–27 at American Legion Mall, and Huddleston Farmhouse’s Wine Down on the Farm on Sept. 16 in Cambridge City.
