The Feed: Repeal, Rook, and More

This Week’s Trends in Indy Dining
» New year, new menu. Fletcher Place restaurant Repeal (630 Virginia Ave., 317-672-7514) is welcoming 2016 with an almost completely different bill of fare—out with sardines, smoked duck, and steelhead trout, and in with comfort food, like baby-back ribs, lemon fried chicken, and a Texas Melt burger topped with brisket. We’re just relieved that prime-rib Saturday is still a thing.

» According to the IBJ, Neal Brown has closed the Village of West Clay location of Pizzology (12819 E. New Market St., Carmel, 317-575-2550) after a year in business. Don’t worry—the flagship Carmel pizzeria (13190 Hazel Dell Pkwy., 317-844-2550) and Mass Ave outpost (608 Massachusetts Ave., 317-685-2550) are still going strong.

» Contemporary-Asian eatery Rook is a hot second away from opening at its new Slate Building location (501 Virginia Ave.). According to Facebook, the space is close to completion, and the staff is being hired.
