Big changes at a little martini bar.

Two years and several martinis after opening on Mass Ave., hip hangout Tini (717 N. Massachusetts Ave., 317-384-1313) will soon unveil its months-long renovation. Here, owner Brad Kime shares the ins and outs of his funky bar, and more.

» Kime is a Goshen native and a Notre Dame graduate. For the last five years he has spent almost all of his weekdays in New York City working as a financial specialist for several startup companies.

» The statement, red-granite bar top was custom-made at Santarossa in Indianapolis. 

» Tini’s menu primarily features locally sourced small plates.

Look forward to …

» Its grand reopening. Tini’s public “double-wide” reveal is set for Thursday, Feb. 27, from 7 p.m. to midnight, with specials on a few of its signature drinks, including the Tini Mule.

» A DJ. Patrons will be able to make video requests.

» New menu items. Toasted ravioli bites and a sundried-tomato–and–pesto torta.

» Lunch and brunch. When the new outdoor seating area opens in March, Tini will offer daytime dining on the weekends, featuring breakfast burritos and biscuits and gravy.
