» Patty Timmons of Wyliepalooza Ice Cream Emporium has closed her Clermont restaurant, Lola’s Bowl & Bistro. According to Facebook, Timmons plans to “morph Lola’s into a summer extension of Wyliepalooza Ice Cream Emporium.”

» Carmel eatery Crust Pizzeria Napoletana is under new local ownership at a new location (840 W. Main St., Carmel, 317-993-3330). The restaurant will celebrate with a grand opening party from 4:30 to 10 p.m. this Wednesday.

» Joanna Greves, barista trainer and roaster at local favorite Bee Coffee Roasters (201 S. Capitol Ave., 317-426-2504), recently chatted with Bon Appétit for its Spilling the Beans series, in which the magazine asks baristas for dining and drinking recommendations in their hometown.

» According to the IBJ, restaurant and bar Rebar Indy (20 N. Delaware St., 317-685-5100) is opening in the former Legal Beagle space with a soft opening on August 1. The menu will offer shareable plates, like fried-green tomatoes and pulled-pork nachos, as well as sandwiches and salads.
