The Loft Restaurant at Traders Point Creamery (9101 Moore Rd., Zionsville, 317-733-1700)

What you get: Three courses prepared by chef Brandon Canfield, beginning with a charcuterie board of prosciutto and Brick Street Tomme, followed by beef, bass, duck, or Midwestern chow chow, and ending with an old-fashioned chocolate mayo cake.

Price: $49/person, $64 for dinner and three wine pairings.


Jazz Kitchen (5377 N. College Ave., 317-253-4900)

What you get: Four courses, beginning with homemade crab cakes, followed by filet mignon medallions or bone-in pork chops, and ending with a dessert sampler.

Price: $75/person

Sweeten the deal: Music 6–10 p.m., latin dance party at 10:30 p.m., and half­-priced bottles of wine.

What you get: Five courses, beginning with an artichoke-and-white bean salad, followed by slow-roasted pork shoulder, curried broiled salmon, or forest mushrooms-and-sweet pea risotto, and ending with dessert.

What you get: Four courses, including a choice of steak, prime rib, pasta, or seafood.

What you get: Five courses, beginning with Italian wedding soup and Rucola salad, followed by a breaded prosciutto–wrapped shrimp appetizer, a veal roulade for the main, and cannoli Siciliani for dessert.

What you get: Four courses, beginning with fingerling potato puree, followed by surf and turf or ratatouille, and ending with chocolate hazelnut mousse cake.
