The fifth annual EntouRaj for Kids charity tennis matches feature formerly No. 4-ranked ATP World Tour star James Blake as special guest, with current ATP Tour player and Carmel resident Rajeev Ram eagerly awaiting him for singles action. For the first time ever, matches will feature WTA Tour players as well: Alison Riske, who just won her first tour title in Asia in October, and up-and-coming talent Jennifer Brady, who’s enjoying a just-budding pro career after winning the NCAA team competition with her UCLA squad. Singles and mixed doubles matches with Blake, Riske, Brady, and Ram will take place. Food, drinks, and souvenirs will be available for purchase, and autographed tennis memorabilia will be auctioned off (silently).
Blake is a three-time Grand Slam singles quarterfinalist, and Riske is currently ranked No. 44 on the women’s tour.
Tickets will not be sold at the door, as a sellout is expected.
An accompanying tennis clinic for adults and children will take place on Saturday, Nov. 22, at 11 a.m. at Five Seasons Family Sports Club. All four retired and active pros will share tips and run drills with participants. Space is limited (link here).
Proceeds benefit EntouRaj for Kids’ college scholarships, tennis grants, and other programs supported through outstanding organizations like the National Junior Tennis League of Indianapolis and Magic Bus.
