Eat Sheet: Tinker Street, Hoosier Momma, and More

» Veteran restaurateur Peter George‘s new restaurant, Tinker Street, opened on Thursday at 402 E. 16th St. A soft-opening dinner the night before reportedly included popcorn and kale chips (pictured at right), fried Brussels sprouts, squash soup, grapefruit-feta-arugula salad, and a main course of steelhead trout and scallops. For dessert, pot de creme and high-end “Twinkies.” (See the full menu.)

» Erin Edds, founder of Hoosier Momma LLC, has left the company. The IBJ reported that Edds filed a suit against business partners Kimberly Cranfill and Catherine Hill in October for wrongly withholding financial documents from her. Hoosier Momma filed a suit against Edds in November, and a settlement was reached on December 29.

» Giordano’s will open its first Indianapolis location (4110 E. 82nd St.) on February 3.
