The Feed: Bru Burger’s Next Outpost, Griggsby’s Station, and More

This Week’s Trends in Indy Dining

» Cunningham Restaurant Group is at it again. According to the IBJ, CRG is launching an 8,500-square-foot location of Bru Burger (see bruburgerbar.com for locations) in Plainfield’s Shops at Perry Crossing. CRG’s CEO Mike Cunningham hopes to open the Plainfield outpost by early 2017.

» Chris Baggott’s latest venture, Griggsby’s Station (101 W. Main St., Greenfield, 317-477-7217), has opened in downtown Greenfield. The farm-to-table restaurant’s menu touts elevated pub food, ranging from beer-soaked chili-cheese fries and Thai grilled pork skewers, to a fried bologna sandwich and Tyner Pond Farms’s grass-fed filet. Baggott is also planning to open Irvington locations of both Griggsby’s Station and his farm-to-curb eatery The Mug (117 Apple St., Greenfield, 317-477-7550).

» Mark your calendars—Black Market (922 Massachusetts Ave., 317-822-6757) is taking its annual summer break until July 11 and will launch with barbecue specials upon reopening. The smoked dishes will star pulled pork, coffee-rubbed brisket, duck leg, and more.
