This metrosexy new steakhouse co-owned by former Colt Gary Brackett stands in the place of his former Georgia Reese’s Southern Table & Bar. To switch things up with steaks and martinis, Brackett and business partner Jeremiah Hamman hired on former Peterson’s chef Ricky Hatfield, known for his thoughtful, artfully plated cuisine. The menu is at its best when Hatfield gets adventurous, like with a row of sea salt–roasted heirloom beets served with clouds of dehydrated sage meringue, a heady smear of goat-cheese mousse, and shards of pumpernickel tuile. Steak eaters will be perfectly happy with their filets and New York strips, and seafood lovers should try the lemon-dusted scallops on a swoop of rich black walnut Romesco with pickled mustard seeds. Dinner Mon.–Sat. 14 E. Washington St., 317-986-7883, $$$$
