First opened in 1979, this casual breakfast-and-lunch spot is still going strong. The menu is simple and classic, with the chicken-salad croissant maintaining its place as one of the most popular items for years. And for good reason: the housemade croissants here are flaky, buttery, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. In general, baked goods and dessert here are a good bet (we can’t say enough about the apple fritter). Breakfast and lunch Mon.-Sat., dinner Tues.-Fri.
