The intimate evening will begin with a walk around reception-style tasting, complete with signature dishes created by these top eateries—complemented with wine, beer and cocktails. After the tasting hour, the guests will gather in Ivy Tech’s historic restaurant, Courses, for panoramic city views and a multi-course dinner (with drink pairings) prepared by the chef teams from some of the city’s most acclaimed dining establishments. With each course, the chefs (and beverage experts) will speak to the guests to explain the course.

IM handpicked an all-star team to design, build, and decorate the ultimate lakeside palace on Geist Reservoir. Arresting vistas, alluring interiors, striking architecture, and handsome furniture: all elements of the 2015 Dream Home that will fill you with serious house envy. The year-and-a-half project will culminate with a preview party for industry VIPs, along with two weeks of open-house style tours.

Each December, Indianapolis Monthly editors seek out the top businesses and services in Central Indiana for its roundup of everything that makes Indy a great place to live. From a music-video bar and trampoline park to gluten-free pizza and hair blowout bars, this well-received feature is utilized as a best-used reference guide for months to come.On December 10, 2014 Indianapolis Monthly will host an awards ceremony soiree and walk-around celebration for these chosen organizations, where many businesses will see the editorial feature for the first time. This event will be hosted by Indianapolis Monthly Editor-in-Chief Amanda Heckert and her team of editors.

Private Residence on Geist
Put on your (washable) walking shoes and take a “dusty boots” tour of the 2015 Indianapolis Monthly Dream Home under construction in the Springs of Cambridge marina community on Geist. This event–complemented with wine, cocktails, and delectable hors d'oeuvres—will give lucky guests an early-bird chance to talk to builders and designers and see the area’s most talked about home before it’s completed in the April 2015. All event proceeds will benefit Dyslexia Institute of Indiana. One-hundred percent of the funds will provide direct educational services to children and adults with specific learning disabilities characteristic of dyslexia. All contributions are 100% tax-deductible.$50 per person. Tickets limited and can be purchased at www.diin.org/events.
