At Home: (Lily and) Madeleine's Dorm Room

While most college freshmen are happy just to find their classes, Madeleine Jurkiewicz (in the blue dress) is tackling IU’s curriculum and promoting her first full album in the same semester. Jurkiewicz, the elder of Indy sister-singers Lily & Madeleine, settled into campus life after the pair spent the summer touring the Northeast and recording a self-titled album, released last month.

“I chose IU because my parents went here, and I wouldn’t be too far away from Lily,” says Madeleine. Next up: picking a major.
The design includes the Black Keys’ logo. Both Madeleine and Lily are big fans of the group.
Madeleine’s a jogger and likes coming across sculptures at 100 Acres and Butler’s Holcomb Gardens.
