50 Days of Holiday Gifts: The (Local) Coffee-Table Book

THE (LOCAL) COFFEE-TABLE BOOK
If you or someone you know happily consumed every last crumb of our New Hoosier Farmers cover story in September, consider Food for Thought a heaping plate of seconds. Last summer, Indiana Humanities published the book rife with portraits and stories of old-timers and newcomers on the state’s diverse agricultural scene. The bountiful compendium of dairy farmers, pierogi makers, brewers, chefs, field hands, and many others instantly became an essential part of the Hoosier harvest, and plenty of copies remain. $24.95, multiple locations.
