Tomorrow, Carmel boutique 14 Districts will roll out its new fashion truck, Stylestop, at Carmel City Center’s Pre-fall Fashion Truck and Sidewalk Sale from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. This extension of the 14 Districts brand is a natural evolution, says owner Rebecca Hanson, who already has clients in Atlanta, Chicago, Cincinnati, and Indy regularly requesting personalized styling sessions. Now, loyal fans of the shop’s chic brands, like JAK and White + Warren, can shop them at in-home appointments, private parties, and special events.
Fashion truck Boho Pretty will also park at the event, offering 50 percent off summer styles and $10 coupons for $50 purchases. Genie’s Closet plans to spotlight handbags and skirts made from recycled silk, as well as new fair-trade merchandise, all under $50. Girly Chic and Urban Frenzy round out the mobile boutiques participating in the sale.
Featured retailers of the event include Bath Junkie, a handmade bath and body studio; J. Benzal high-end menswear; Jack & Jill Children’s Shoppe; Addendum Gallery; Bike Line; 14 Districts Weekend; and Cloth. They’ll display merchandise on—you guessed it—the sidewalk, where discounted items will be from 40- to 60-percent off.
