Indiana Pride
It’s ridiculously frigid outside, so grab something cozy to cuddle up in by the fire—like these slouchy French-terry sweatshirts by local brand United State of Indiana. Brandi Rice, owner of Lucky B Boutique (912 E. Westfield Blvd., 317-253-7530), says her Broad Ripple shop has sold more than 300 USI pieces in the last few months, making it by far her best-selling brand. These sweatshirts, $38 in-store and online, drape just right over one shoulder and come in faded pink, blue, and heather gray. Cute!
Shoe-In
As if you needed an excuse to sip fine wines while shopping the latest shoes and accessories, here comes Wine Women & Shoes, a fundraiser for Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana. It’s 11:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m. Friday, May 2, at the gorgeous Lucas Oil Estate. The online invitation promises “delicious food bites” and the chance to “mingle with charming Shoe Guys.” Color us intrigued. Tickets are $100 and can be had here.
