Indy’s Black Lives Matter Protest in Photos

Hundreds gathered on the Indiana Statehouse Lawn Saturday for the Black Lives Matter Rally for Justice in the wake of recent police-involved shootings.
With police cooperation, the crowd of around 600 marched east along Market Street where they lined the stairs of the Soldiers and Sailors Monument then north on Meridian to the Indianapolis Central Public Library. Squad cars and officers mounted on horseback moved along the route while law enforcement watched from rooftops and a helicopter circled overhead until the crowd dispersed at around 9pm.
